Come fellowship in brotherhood the 105th Anniversary Celebration of the chartering of Alpha Chapter!  This event will occur on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Blackburn Center on the campus of Howard University.  The event will consist of an Alpha Chapter Forum from 2-4 PM (Brothers only) then our Charter Day Dinner from 4-7 PM (open to the public).

Please come out and fellowship as well as enjoy a banquet-style meal, history display, Fraternal dignitaries, and dynamic speakers.  Celebrate and congratulate this year's winners of the Frank Byron Patterson, E. Newton Jackson Jr., and Horace Dwight Boston Awards as well as line anniversaries from 1946, 1956, 1966, 1986, 1996, and 2006.  Special honors will be acknowledged to those Alpha Chapter Brothers with 50 or more in the Fraternity.

Our keynote speaker for this year's Celebration is Judge Livingstone Johnson (Alpha Chapter, Fall 1946).  In addition to hearing Judge Johnson, your ticket purchase also includes a special Alpha Chapter commemorative patch, poster, and post-event set owt at Smith Commons.

Ticket purchase is now closed for the 2016 Alpha Chapter Charter Day Celebration.  Please make a donation to support the Charter Day efforts.  A portion of the proceeds will go towards restoration efforts of the Dial.

Tickets are now on sale:

  • $65 for Brothers
  • $30 for 50 year+ Brothers/Family/Friends

Due to catering requirements, no tickets will be sold at the door.  Ticket sales will close on Tuesday, December 6, 2016.  Each Brother purchasing a ticket will receive a special commemorative gift of an Alpha Chapter patch and a 11 x 17" poster of the 1914-15 Alpha Chapter Bros as well as a keepsake commemorative 16-page program.  A portion of the proceeds will go towards the restoration of The Dial.  If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to make a donation for the cause.
