Alpha Chapter Prayer Call: Those We've Lost

  • Prayer Call, Dial In: 563-999-1139, Access Code: 366070

Brothers of The Mother Pearl,

The Thunderbirds (Spring 1977) has been discussing the need to have a prayer call for Alpha Chapter Brothers in response to the recent passing of our Sands, ‘Chicken’ George Williams (16-77-A). We are finding that because of the shock of what has happened, Brothers are in need of healing and comfort hence we believe a prayer call is in order.

Our objective is to come out of the call uplifted and unified because we realize that when we enter the church for His services, Alpha Chapter’s charge will be to provide uplift to the family, other Brothers, Chick’s church members and all friends who are in attendance. As comforters we must first be comforted.

Alpha Chapter is blessed to have its own ‘ministerial staff’ in the form of several Brothers who are ‘men of the cloth.’  The following Brothers have agreed to speak a few words and offer prayer and in the order shown below:

·         Brother Bernard Richardson:     Prayer of Comfort

·         Brother Anthony Evans:            Prayer of Healing

·         Brother Eddie Hailes:                 Prayer of Remembrance

·         Brother Jeffrey Chandler:          Prayer of Inspiration

·         Brother Lenny Hamlin:              Prayer to Move Forward

The entire call would be structured to include prayer only and not reflections so that we can manage the time to less than one hour. The call will occur on Sunday evening, 08/05/18 from 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST.

The conference call number is 563-999-1139 and access code is 366070.

Upon joining the call, please mute your phones if you are not a speaker.

Please extend this invitation to all Alpha Chapter Brothers.  We look forward to a spirited and uplifting call.  Thanks and FIETTS!
