Junior established his practice in 1925 right next door at 2712 P St., NW which he maintained at that address for over 50 years. Bro. Marshall also taught at HU College of Medicine for many years.
During the '40s & '50s, Bro. Marshall served as a leader in his community acquiring the title of "Mr. Georgetown" and the unofficial mayor of Georgetown.
Bro. Marshall was extremely active in the Fraternity as he was part of the Brothers who chartered Alpha Omega Chapter in 1922 and served as its first Basileus from 1922-28 then again from 1939-40.
Below is a picture from the Howard University Yearbook, The Echo of '20, of HU's Basketball team. Seated on the front row to the far right is Bro. Marshall. Also, two of Bro. Marshall's Line Brothers are pictured. The are Bros. Charles Parrish (Alpha 1917) who is standing on the far right and Percy Richardson (Alpha 1917) who is seated in the center (third in from the left holding the basketball).
