Welcome to The Mother Pearl of Omega

Over one hundred and four years ago, three ambitious students met along with their faculty advisor in his office to form a new fraternity; one with a foundation of Friendship and pillars of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift.  The place: Thirkield Hall; the college: Howard University.  Thus on this rainy Friday evening, November 17, 1911,  Omega Psi Phi Fraternity was born.  A month later, on December 15, with eleven of their friends and students of "like attainment and of the same ideals of fellowship, scholarship and manhood," were brought into the Fraternity to form Alpha Chapter, The Mother Pearl, our Fraternity's first chapter.

Welcome to the electronic Fraternity House of Brothers who came through Alpha Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.  This Portal is design to celebrate the rich history and achievement of Alpha Chapter and to serve as a conduit of information for Brothers across the global who are associated with Alpha Chapter about Fraternal, professional and personal goings on.

Welcome to the eFrat House!
